Savvybear is a free educational online games world for children aged between 5 to 12 years old. John and Sandra Joyce created Savvybear when they realized there was a lack of online educational games that were completely safe for their three children. Savvybear allows children to choose a bear avatar and explore the fun and exciting world with other online players. Savvybear features an in-game school where upon completion of classes, coins are earned which allows for your child to purchase new outfits, in-game pets and furniture for their house. The three core elements that drive Savvybear are Safety, Education and Fun. We hope that this page may answer any questions that you may have about the game and your children.

As parents we understand and appreciate how difficult a transition it can be to take the first step in allowing your child to sign up to a website. At Savvybear we wish to reassure you that our game world is 100% safe. This is achieved by controlling all in-game chat, only allowing for pre-written phrases to be selected. Beatbullying, the UK's largest bullying prevention charity has recognized Savvybear as a safe environment for children. Where no online bullying or 'trolling' can take place.

Savvybear has been developed exclusively with teachers and schools. At Savvybear we believe that real educational benefits occur when learning is fun and stimulating. The Savvybear School is at the heart of the Savvybear world, where your child's vocabulary, reading and problem solving abilities will be developed and rewarded with in-game coins.
